No different than many other companies, digitalization, automation, and data management is becoming more important for the future development of BTC. My job is to manage and expand this digital landscape. Some specific tasks are as follows but not limited to, imported articles are given a barcode, orders are sent digitally, every box is assigned a place in the warehouse, websites are synchronized, and we know immediately what the best sellers are. This means that I am the point of contact for our IT partners, and I help our members with their wishes and issues so that they can make optimal use of the systems.

As a graphic designer at BTC-Retail, my daily work consists of designing various promotional materials  and keeping our online information up-to-date. The innate nature of divided preferences among three different groups posts a challenge for me to design our campaign that satisfies all parties. Fortunately, there is always room for a little customization.

As a purchase & category manager, I am in daily contact with our suppliers and BTC members to ensure that everything runs smoothly. I am also constantly looking in the global and domestic market for competitive pricing, fun and innovative product assortments. The ultimate goal is providing a diverse, current and distinctive products range in our member stores.

As an administrative assistant I am responsible for the day-to-day administrative duties within BTC-Retail, such as processing the invoices and taking care of the payments. I am also responsible for ceratin HR matters, secretary duties and I support my colleagues with the product data. I really enjoy having all these different kinds of tasks. It keeps the job versatile and varied!

As a logistics employee, my main job is to coordinate all logistic activities from start to finish. I am talking to our suppliers, logistic partners and stores on a daily basis. The goal is to have the goods in our stores at the right time, so that our customers can enjoy the latest trends and products. Supplying our members optimally is the key in our logistical process. 

Besides plants and flowers, these days our garden centres are also known for their extensive collection of interior products. This started with Easter and Christmas but now you will find them year-round in our stores. As a buyer of interior decoration items, I want to make it almost impossible to leave one of our stores empty handed. Finding the perfect items, something for any interior; this is what I am looking for.
